We are proud to provide high-quality, efficient patient care using innovative and effective digital x-ray imaging systems.

Digital technology allows for the electronic transfer of images and data immediately after your exam. Data can be transferred to special high resolution computers for the Radiologist to view. Your images can now be stored electronically so they are available at any time for fast retrieval or comparison. Your doctor now also has the capability to view your images through our secure website. Digital x-rays are saved as a digital file and are part of your medical record.

Benefits of digital technology

  • Lower dosage x-rays can often be used to achieve the same high quality picture
  • Images can be enhanced and manipulated with computers and sent via a network so that people can share the information and assist in the diagnosis
  • Amount of repeated x-rays required is reduced
  • Images are sharper and crisper

If your doctor approves the x-ray, they will need to indicate this on the requisition and that they have discussed this with you. Please let the technologist know at the start of the visit that you are, or may be, pregnant.
